Kano Health Commissioner Urges Mass Marriage Beneficiaries to Adhere to Health, Spiritual Guidance

By Shade Florence  The Kano State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, has called on prospective couples participating in the ongoing mass marriage programme to strictly adhere to health guidelines provided by experts, and comply with the spiritual guidance offered by the Hisbah Board. The Commissioner made the call while supervising the medical screening exercise for the 3,000 beneficiaries, currently taking place at the Kano State Agency for the Control of AIDS (KSACA). Addressing the prospective couples, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf emphasized the importance of the medical screening and counseling process in ensuring healthy and successful marriages.
