KHETFUND Disburse Over N2b for 90 Interventions in 2025

By Rukayya Nadabo   In a landmark move to restrengthen the health sector through strategic funding, the Kano State Health Trust Fund (KHETFUND) has disbursed over N2 billion to healthcare facilities, health institutions, as well as health parastatals for some 90 interventions in the year 2025. The Executive Secretary of KHETFUND Dr. Fatima Usman Zahraddeen made this known while speaking during Beneficiaries' Performance Review Meeting organized by the Agency and held, Tuesday, at Comfort Hub Hotel in the metropolis. According to her, the major interventions funded by KHETFUND include the procurement of hospital equipment, constructions and renovations of key infrastructures, payment of accreditation and qualifying examinations, solar power installation, among others.
